July 27, 2015 – LEBANON, OH – Ohio Governor John Kasich has appointed local commercial real estate agent, Brad Knapp, to the Ohio Housing Finance Agency. Knapp will join an eleven-person board (as the Real Estate representative) whose mission is to aid the use of Federal and State resources to finance housing opportunities for low and moderate-income families and individuals. He is the third person to serve in this position since its inception in 1982.
Knapp also serves as a Chairman for the National Association of Realtors; is a committee member for the Cincinnati Area Board of Realtors; and is a Real Estate Ethics/Professional Standards instructor. He has been active in the local real estate business with Henkle Schueler Realtors and Schueler Group since 1979.
A Background Combining Public Works and Commercial Real Estate
Brad is the past president of the Warren County Board of Realtors, and served as president of the Ohio Association of Realtors (OAR). He was elected regional vice president for the National Association of Realtors (NAR), and has been chair of the Professional Standards Committee. He is currently the national director of NAR representing Ohio.
Brad is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University (Delaware, OH) and a U. S. Navy veteran. He and his wife Dianne reside in Lebanon.
