Schueler Group is One of 75 Family and Private Businesses to be Recognized as Best in Class

Schueler Group has been named a Semi-Finalist for the 19thAnnual Goering Center Family & Private Business Awards.

Schueler Group is honored to be named a semi-finalist in the Goering Center’s Family and Private Business Awards.  In our eighty-three-year history, there have been two company presidents, George Henkle (founder) and Mike Schueler, who has held the position since 1976. Under the leadership of these two men, land was purchased and developed (3,000+ acres) numerous civic organizations were born, and jobs were created for many thousands of local employees.

Over the past several decades the company has:

  • Bought, sold or managed 13,675 acres
  • Managed more than 400 construction projects
  • Built or renovated over 8,000,000 SF
  • Negotiated contracts with 15 international companies – bringing them to SW Ohio
  • Have approximately 3,000 acres currently available for development

The company sits within an 860-acre industrial park (in Lebanon) that contains approximately 20+ corporations (large and small) and employs more than 1,400 people. There are more than 20 industrial parks along I-71 and I-75 that are owned or managed by Schueler Group, with businesses providing income to thousands – of all ages.

Schueler states, “We are proud of our role as a catalyst working with industries and government to create employment opportunities and better peoples’ lives.”

We are privileged to be included in such a prestigious group of companies and are looking forward to the Awards Dinner on September 11th.

As a semi-finalist, Schueler Group will be further evaluated by an independent panel of judges who will be looking at the breakthroughs and accomplishments that distinguished their business – and the Cincinnati region – in 2018.

The 2018 Goering Center Family & Private Business Award winners will be announced at the awards gala this fall at the JACK Cincinnati Casino on September 11, 2018.  This annual recognition program, in its 19thyear, honors Cincinnati regional businesses that exemplify the best in family and private business practices.  Each year nearly 500 businesses are nominated for these awards and from those nominees, 75 semi-finalists are selected.

Land for Lease in Cincinnati is a Premium Location for Growth

The land around Cincinnati is perfect for commercial and industrial entities looking to enter, or expand into, the Midwest markets for a few reasons. One, the proximity to several big interstate exchanges. Two, there’s an international airport right there. Three, the Dayton-Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky corridor is only going to become more populated, with more commercial traffic and growing economies all over the region. Four, the acreage for lease in the Cincinnati area is ideal for development; the floodplain and rolling hills of the area make regrading minimal, running new utilities simple, and getting heavy equipment to the build site easy.
