The Next Steps After Securing the Site for Your Commercial Build
When you’re looking to buy or lease land for development; we can help. We sell and lease all kinds of commercial and industrial properties. Once you’ve secured your site, you face a whole new set of challenges in designing and carrying out any construction required to realize your plans. Fortunately, expert general commercial contracting is another of the land development services that the Schueler Group team of businesses can offer in-house. You’ll quickly realize that with us, every commercial real estate service you need falls under one of our integrated brokerage, development, construction and property management branches. You’ll never need to look for various separate development and financing companies, hoping that they’ll work well together. Whatever you need, we’ve got you covered.
Our Approach to Effective and Efficient Commercial Construction
When our team at Bunnell Hill Construction oversees your project as general contractor, all important responsibilities are organized under one umbrella. We offer a design/build approach to commercial construction projects, providing a single point of accountability for all the necessary land development services, from zoning and financing to design and construction. We emphasize a collaborative approach throughout the process, and maintain strong, open working relationships with our sub-contractors. And because we’ve been a staple in the Cincinnati-Dayton area for so long, we have great relationships with all the local municipalities. They understand that bringing new or growing businesses to the area means new jobs and economic growth for our region. With every construction project we take on, we deliver high-quality results, safely, within budget, and on time. In our role as your construction managers, we begin by setting up a master design/build schedule, complete with deadlines for each phase of construction, to make sure that you meet your projected timetable.
Sustainable Construction? We Can Do That, Too
Sustainability in commercial and industrial construction of all kinds is increasingly in demand. Everyone wants to keep growing local and national commercial/industrial markets, but in a way that is environmentally friendly for the long term. According to the US EPA, sustainable construction involves “creating structures and using processes that are environmentally responsible and resource-efficient throughout a building’s life-cycle from siting to design, construction, operation, maintenance, renovation and deconstruction.” We know how to make that happen; our commercial construction branch, Bunnell Hill Construction, managed the first office building in Ohio to be certified to the “Gold” LEED standard by the US Green Building Council. Not only that, but that client chose us again for their second headquarters project, and we helped them create a zero-energy multi-use commercial space.
