Bunnell Hill Construction recently finished building a new 15,000 SF retail store front for  Arrow Wine & Spirits in our Everybody’s Farm development.

The Arrow Wine & Spirits project is another great example of how the Schueler Group of companies, is ready to work together on every aspect of a deal. Jeff Eichhorn brokered the land purchase for Arrow Wine, Bunnell Hill Development helped secure financing for the project, and Bunnell Hill Construction built the retail center to suit as commercial general contractor.

The Black Horse Tavern / Golden Lamb

Bunnell Hill Construction, the commercial construction division of the Schueler Group, recently completed the renovations to the Golden Lamb Hotel & Restaurant’s Black Horse Tavern.

The renovation included the addition of a 58-seat outdoor dining veranda and expanded indoor dining area which increased the Black Horse Tavern guest seating from 52 to approximately 150.  The project also included a new tavern entrance and vestibule plus a refresh to the lower level gift shop.

Tractor Supply Co.

One of Bunnell Hill Construction’s most tenured customers is Tractor Supply Company. Each of these business construction projects is approximately 19,000 SF. Over the past 20 years we have worked on hundreds of Tractor Supply retail facilities throughout the Midwest, every one of them on schedule. Critical to building for Tractor Supply is commitment to meet their “Fixture Monday,” when contractors must be out of the project so Tractor Supply can move in. Bunnell Hill Construction has never missed this critical date. A specific example of success is a new facility in Manassas, VA, which we built mid-winter 2011. Knowing the schedule challenge, our Project Manager had numerous “integration of contractor” meetings to get concurrence on project staging and working together to meet “Fixture Monday.” Complicating the mid-winter build was the fact that we had to work with 15 different permitting entities. We not only met our “Fixture Monday” commitment, but beat it by a week. Tractor Supply is the leading retailer for rural lifestyles and operates over 1,600 stores in 49 states. We are proud to have been one of their preferred commercial real estate developers for over 20 years.

What is a Turnkey Commercial Real Estate Developer?

When we talk about a property developer offering “turnkey” services, this means just what it sounds like. A turnkey developer is one who is prepared and qualified to handle every step in the process of getting you into a new commercial space, whether that means finding a site, arranging financing, negotiating a lease, constructing or renovating a building, or managing the property once you’ve occupied it. The idea is, you explain exactly what you need in the way of a home for your new or expanding business, and the development firm takes care of everything that’s needed to make that happen. All you need to do is to pick up the keys to your new facility and move your people in. To offer true turnkey real estate development, a firm must be able to offer, in-house, the full spectrum of expertise in planning, real estate brokerage, site management and construction contracting.
