Project Superintendent - Bunnell Hill Construction

Bunnell Hill Construction Project Superintendent will be charged with leading the onsite management for all phases of our construction projects; Manage site safety, monitor and maintain project construction schedule, schedule and coordinate all subcontractors, suppliers, permit inspections and client relations.
Essential Functions
- Maintain and enforce required (and satisfactory) construction standards and quality control.
- Maintain records of subcontractors required weekly toolbox safety meetings.
- Assist with the development of a detailed project construction schedule.
- Conduct weekly subcontractor schedule review meetings, maintain daily and weekly project reports.
- Submit weekly progress reports complete with photos to Project Manager.
- Coordinate and ensure compliance with all required testing and inspections.
- Maintain site cleanliness and order and require daily subcontractor clean up.
- Maintain on site record drawings/as built.
- Assist Project manager with verification of subcontractor invoicing when requested.
- Assist Project Manager with the management and completion of the project punch list.
- Assist Project Manager with closeout documentation.
- Maintain client and subcontractor relations.
Education and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Construction Management is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience assisting or supervising commercial construction projects.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Understanding of blueprints, CAD design and other construction management documents
- Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people effectively and simultaneously
- Ability to demonstrate exceptional organization and management skills with the ability to handle disputes in a timely and professional manner
- Ability to target and maintain professional relationships with suitable subcontractors and vendors based on a specific project schedule, delivery and scale
- Effective communication skills to clearly communicate to various audiences
Supervisory Responsibilities
- There are no direct reports for this position, however the individual will provide indirect supervision and management to subcontractors on a project site
Physical Requirements
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Ability to safely walk around a construction site to be aware of potential hazards
- Ability to operate construction tools and machinery, when needed
