Residential and Commercial Real Estate Agents have Different Specialties

Buying a home in a residential community is different from buying land on which to build a residential community. Each has different buying processes, types of financing, codes, rules and regulations – virtually everything about these transactions differ. This is why it’s so important to work with a realtor who specializes in the type of property you’re looking for. Residential real estate agents have different knowledge and resources than commercial real estate agents, who must be familiar with regional markets, local tax abatements for businesses, quality of developable land, and more.
