This restoration was a unique project for Bunnell Hill Construction, who usually runs projects for new commercial construction, but as always, they were excited to take on a new challenge and grow the scope of their project portfolio.u00a0

The renovation included the addition of a 58-seat outdoor dining veranda and an expansion of their indoor dining area, which increased the Black Horse Tavern capacity for guest seating from 52 to approximately 150. This is the first time the restaurant will offer outdoor dining. The project also included a new tavern entrance and vestibule, plus a refresh to the lower level gift shop. This is the largest investment into the Golden Lamb in the last 50 years, since they opened the tavern in 1964.u00a0
